Summary
The HTC Sensation XE is the new successor to the original HTC Sensation and it also comes with Beats Audio. This is a new audio technology that HTC acquired and it will not only enhance your sound but gives you control of audio manipulation features. There also appears to be many other HTC Android phones popping up lately that will support Beats, such as the HTC Runnymede 2. In our HTC Sensation XE review we will cover some of the device’s specifications, features, and design.
Some of the HTC Sensation XE specs that are different and new from the Sensation include it’s 1730 mAh battery and obviously the Beats Audio we just talked about. Other then that though, the XE model is nearly identical as far as performance and hardware go. The design of the Sensation XE is quite similar to it’s previous model in that it has the same texture and shape. The only difference seems to be the slightly darker (basically black) of the XE, where as the original is just gray. Also there seems to be an additional red “Beats” logo on the bottom.

Some of the best features of the HTC Sensation XE include: 4.3 inch touch-screen, 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU, 8.0 MP camera with dual-LED flash, 5 different sensors, 1730maH battery capacity, and 1080p video recording. Overall, this new Android phone looks very powerful like the original with an added touch. According to one source, it will be available in the UK as early as October 1st.

- 1080p video recording (at 30 fps) on backside camera (has dual-led flash as well)
- Should be priced to replace original HTC Sensation
- Larger 4.3 inch display
- Good battery size
- Comes with nice set of earphones from Beats Technology / Monster
Cons
- May still use battery fast
- Probably weighs more from the bigger battery
- Not officially available yet in North America
- Basically same specifications as original (nothing new)
