The HTC Runnymede 2 is an upcoming Android v2.3.4 Gingerbread phone tablet that has not yet been announced but is expected to be released soon and has beats audio. The HTC Runnymede 2 has been reported by several sources including PocketNow and looks like a great competitor for the upcoming Apple iPhone 5. The HTC Runnymede 2 specs are quite impressive even though it will only be running a single-core processor, unlike many other models. It will come with 768 MB of RAM which is quite nice and the CPU will be clocked at 1.5ghz which should still be plenty of speed to run the latest versions of Anrdoid OS.

The HTC Runnymede 2 design is slick with an aluminum outside that is only 9.9mm thick! The display is a huge 4.7 inches, which is why I called this a “phonetablet” earlier. Additionally, this device is set to come shipped with a Beats solo headset which should be great for music and movies.
Overall, the second Runnymede model from HTC is a great blend of style and performance. Some of the prices currently released $788 USD for the 16GB and $837.00 USD for the 32GB version. This is likely to go way down when purchasing a contract for one or two years.
